Lavender to keep the bugs away. I hear from the Scent Doctor, who has been on news shows, that Lavenders scent is a turn on for men? Go figure!
A regal color to be sure, and in a garden it REALLY stands out! Go get them at costco while they last friends! Last year, they got wiped out of their inventory of Lavender.

I had already gone into the house, but you know, this flower, it called me back out, and I went out and got a photo of this wilting flower.
Usually I leave the dead, dying, wilting things out of pictures. For some reason, this just screamed at me to get a shot!
A state of mind brings an artist to their subject. In a moment, something ordinary becomes extraordinary.
Settings, Frame, Shadow, Align, and snap. You have the photo you never knew. A mood reflected. A spotless millisecond frozen for all time.
It does not take hundreds of pictures to get a good photograph. I takes hundreds of pictures to learn the subject, to frame and model for optimum longevity, to capture the heart and mind of the viewer.
